About the Authors

Patti Gould and Joyce Sullivan met in anatomy lab at Boston University in 1973 and have remained friends since.

Joyce Sullivan has worked as an occupational therapist for over 25 years in a variety of educational settings. She received her masters degree in developmental and educational psychology from Boston College in 1996. Joyce currently works for North River Collaborative in the Rockland Public Schools in Massachusetts. Joyce lives with her husband, daughter, and son in Massachusetts. Her hobbies include swimming, biking, running and the triathlon.

Patti Gould is currently working as a developmental therapist in an early intervention program. Her professional expereince includes working in public schools, consultation with day care centers, presenting teacher training workshops in a variety of settings, and working in a rehabilitation hospital. Patti lives in Massachusetts with her husband and three children.
